A New Year State of Mind

What is the grace period for being in a New Year state of mind? How long do you think about what new skills you want to learn, places you want to go, and new habits you want to nurture in the coming year?

For me, I’d say January through March is all open season for developing new plans (and dreams) for the coming year. Let’s face it, December is all about being in the moment: enjoying, indulging, time with friends and family…and maybe trying to create some space from all the enjoying and indulging and time with friends and family. It’s also a time for wrapping up the year and looking backward. It’s not until January that I’m really ready to look forward.

And so, if, like me, you haven’t spent a lot of time thinking about what you want to make happen in the coming year, I invite you to sit down and give it some thought… you’re right on time.

Welcome Friends!

Welcome to my new website! As I get this place up and running, I hope you’ll take some time to look around, check out my latest classes, and maybe ask a question or leave a comment.  The site will definitely be a work in progress as I continue to learn my way around website design.  I’m sure to make lots of mistakes, but what better way to remind you all that mistakes are an important part of the learning process? As I say in my beginning knitting classes, our goal is progress, not perfection!

Thanks for joining me!
